A Blooming Good Time at the Tunbridge Wells Fringe Festival's Opening Day!
This past Saturday, June 29th, marked the beginning of the 4th year of the Tunbridge Wells Fringe Festival, and what a fantastic start it was! The event kicked off at The Manor House in Tunbridge Wells, featuring an impressive lineup of talented performers.

The day began with Strings & Roses Acoustic Duo, whose lovely voice and soothing melodies set the tone for a fantastic day of entertainment.

Next up, The Talentz took to the stage with their incredible performance of The Addam's Family, impressing the audience with their energy and charisma. The young cast members were absolute sweethearts, showcasing the love and care that goes into every aspect of their show.

The afternoon was filled with a variety of acts, including Red, Green and Blue, Sitting Pretty with Kitty Cassis (who had the audience in stitches with her hilarious antics! And children dancing), Music Together, Flitt & Folio's Summer Splash, and TN Twins, who even tested our knowledge with a quick quiz featuring Tw Fringe questions!

The dance scene was also well-represented, with Thrive Dance Platform giving us a beautiful, choreographed performance by both younger and adult cast. and for some funky beats, mama's funkin' skunks brought their unique sound to the stage.

As the evening drew to a close, we headed to the Rotunda for the main event. Unfortunately, PRETTY, WITTY NELL was cancelled due to illness, but Hill & Jones Sketch Comedy Show more than made up for it with their hilarious antics. And if you're a fan of puns like me, Richard Pulsford: Get Rich Quick is definitely one to catch!
Overall, the opening day of the Tunbridge Wells Fringe Festival was a resounding success, showcasing the diverse talents of local and regional performers. With so many exciting acts still to come over the next few days, we can't wait to see what else this fantastic festival has in store!
